Cancellation policy
No refunds or credits after April 2, 2011. NO cancellation fee for written notification via email or letter on company letterhead prior to April 2, 2011. You may transfer your registration to a colleague at anytime to avoid losing any of your registration payment.
CPE at Media Finance Focus 2011 All sessions are presented in group-live instructional/delivery method. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour. CPE sheets and stickers are available at each session offering CPE. Your Conference registration materials will include a sheet to be submitted to MFM at the conclusion of the Conference. CPAs will be mailed a CPE Certificate from MFM following the Conference. With the co-location of the MFM/BCCA and INFE Conferences, CPAs could potentially earn up to TBA units at the 2011 Conference. For questions regarding CPE, please call Debi Borden at 847.716.7000.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. We recommend that you dress in layers and bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions in case the room temperature is not comfortable for you.
Please remember to wear your badge when attending Media Finance Focus 2011 functions. This allows you access to conference sessions, social events and the Exhibit Hall. Your badge is proof of registration; without it, you will not be allowed to participate in any conference activities.
Should you need assistance during the conference, please stop by the Registration Desk or look for MFM/BCCA staff. In cases of a medical emergency, you may also dial “0” on any house phone.
MFM/BCCA takes photographs during its meetings and events for use in Association advertising, newsletters and other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the MFM and/or BCCA websites. By participating in this conference you grant MFM and BCCA the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.
For your convenience, a lost and found box is kept at the Registration Desk, where you can bring found items or report lost items. MFM is not responsible for lost personal property.
For the comfort and health of all attendees, smoking is not permitted at any MFM/BCCA function. The Hotel is a non-smoking facility.
Responsible Drinking Policy
Recognizing the emphasis on networking through receptions and social events and the potential for alcohol abuse, MFM and BCCA encourages attendees to drink responsibly. Supporting this policy, MFM/BCCA offers nonalcoholic beverages at all functions where alcohol is served. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21.
Cell Phone and Pager Policy
As a courtesy to speakers and other attendees, please refrain from the use of PDAs or cell phones during presentations. We ask that you kindly turn off your phone/PDA or set it to vibrate and leave the session if you receive a call.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
MFM/BCCA selects lunch menus we hope everyone will enjoy. We realize that some individuals have dietary restrictions and food allergies. Send a note to meetings@mediafinance.org with specific instructions.
Attendees who notified us about food allergies or dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating the standard entrée selection are provided with a vegetarian/vegan meal based as closely as possible on their specific dietary needs.
MFM/BCCA will do its best to accommodate all dietary requests; however because the focus is on food allergies, we cannot always guarantee requests such as low-fat, low-salt, low-carb, sugar-free, etc. Alternate desserts also may not be available.
MFM/BCCA strives to hold meetings that are accessible to all. Please tell us what you require to help make your participation more enjoyable and meaningful. If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids or other reasonable accommodations to fully participate in this event, please let us know. Indicate any special needs you may have on the registration form. Any information regarding your disability will remain confidential.
